Place the safety eyes between rounds 26 and 27, a bit before the light blue area begins. Embroider the cheeks with pink yarn below the eyes. Stuff the body firmly. Take the base and place it over the body as a lid. We are now going to join both pieces in the following round.

Fasten off yarn, leaving a long tail for sewing. Close the remaining 6 sts through the front loops only.

1. Chain 8 ch sts. Starting from the second chain from hook, crochet 1 slst, 1 sc, 1 hdc, 1 dc, 1 hdc, 1 sc, 1 sl st + 1 sc + 1 sl st all in the last chain. On the other side of the chain crochet 1 sc, 1 hdc, 1 dc, 1 hdc, 1 sc, 1 sl st.
Fasten off yarn, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Assembly
- Stuff the tail and sew it to the back of the body.
- Sew the fins to tip of the tail.
- Sew the side fins to the sides of the body, in the light blue section.
- Sew the spots to the body, where you prefer them and embroider some smaller dots around them.
- Weave in all ends inside the doll.
