Leg 1
Start with the contrasting color (boots)...

Leg 2 + body

8. Crochet *3 sc, 2 sc in the next st*, repeat * (30)
9. to 14. Corchet 30 sc
Stuff the little legs firmly…
15. Change to the contrasting color (belt) and, only through back loops, crochet 30 sc

Arms
Make two. Start with the contrasting color (gloves)…
1. Make 2 chain stitches. Crochet 4 sc in the second chain from hook.

6. Change to the main color of the suit and, only through back loops, crochet 8 sc
8. to 13. Crochet 8 sc
No need to stuff the arms.
14. Press the opening with your fingers and single crochet together both opposing sides.
Close. Break the yarn and leave a long tail to sew arms to body.
Cap + Hair
Start with the main color of the suit…
1. Start with a magic ring of 6 sc
2. Crochet 2 sc in each st (12)
3. Crochet *1 sc, 2 sc in the next st*, repeat * (18)
4. Crochet *2 sc, 2 sc in the next st*, repeat * (24)
5. Crochet *3 sc, 2 sc in the next st*, repeat * (30)
7. Crochet *5 sc, 2 sc in the next st*, repeat * (42)
8. Crochet *13 sc, 2 sc in the next st*, repeat * (45)
9. to 17. Crochet 45 sc
18. Change to the contrasting color and crochet 45 sc
19. Change to dark brown and crochet 1 slst in the next back loop. We are going to start crocheting the hair curls now. So, chain 11 ch stitches. Insert hook in the second ch from hook and crochet 1 sc. Then crochet 1 sc in each stitch along the chain, until you reach the border of the hood (you’ll end up with 10 sc). The locks will curl naturally as you go. Now * crochet 1 slst in the next 2 back loops on the edge of the hood and once again chain 11 ch stitches. Insert hook in the second ch from hook and crochet 1 sc. Then crochet 1 sc in each stitch along the chain, until you reach the border of the hood again (10 sc)*. Repeat * till you’ve done 10 hair curls. Crochet one last stst to finish.
Close and break the yarn.
Cape
The cape is crocheted in rows. Use the color of your choice…
1. Chain 21. Crochet 1 slit in the second chain from hook and then 1 slst in each of the following 4 chain stitches (total = 5 slst). Now crochet 1 sc in each of the next 5 chain stitches and finally crochet 1 hdc in each remaining chain stitch till you reach the end (total = 5 sc + 10 hdc). You should end this row with 20 stitches: 5 slst + 5 sc + 10 hdc. Chain 1 and turn.
From now on, all the following rows must be crocheted in the back loops only!
2. Chain 1 (this chain stitch is to reach the height of a hdc), 10 hdc, 5 sc, 5 slst. Chain 1 and turn.
3. Crochet 5 slst, 5 sc, 10 hdc. Chain 1 and turn.
4. to 18. Repeat rows 2 and 3 alternately. The last row you crochet should be like row 2.
Close and break the yarn, leaving a long tail to sew.
Assembly
- Sew the arms to the sides of the body.
- Sew the cape to her back, surrounding her neck.
- Sew the cap and hair to her head. You can also embroider some hairlocks to her forehead.
- Embroider a big M to her chest (or the first letter of your name!)
