Materials
- 2.00 mm crochet hook
- 100 % cotton yarn for a 2.00 mm hook
- A pair of 6 mm safety eyes
- Tapestry needle
- Polyfiber fill  

Colors
- One color for the skin.
- Orange, of course.
- A bit of pink yarn to embroider the cheeks

Close and break the yarn, leaving a long tail to sew to the head.

Caudal Fin (tail)
The caudal fin is made of three of these pieces. Using orange
1. Make 9 chain stitches. Starting from the second chain from hook, crochet 1 sc in each chain stitch (8). Chain 1 and turn. 
2. to 4. Only through back loops, crochet 8 sc. Chain 1 and turn.
5. Only through back loops, crochet 8 sc
Close and break the yarn, leaving a long tail to sew to the body. With your tapestry needle, weave the yarn tail through the top side of the fin and pull tight. Set aside. Make two more fins.





Pectoral Fins
Make two. Using orange
1. Make 9 chain stitches. Starting from the second chain from hook, crochet: 1 sl st in the next 2 chains, 1 sc in the next 2 chains, 1 hdc in the next 2 chains and finally 1 dc in the last 2 chains. Chain 3 and turn. 
2. Only through back loops, crochet 1 dc in the next 2 stitches, 1 hdc in the next 2 stitches, 1 sc in the next 2 stitches and finally 1 sl st in the last two stitches. Now turn.
3. Only through back loops, crochet 1 sl st in the next 2 stitches, 1 sc in the next 2 stitches, 1 hdc in the next 2 stitches and finally 1 dc in the last 2 stitches.
Close and break the yarn, leaving a long tail to sew to the body. Make another one.

Dorsal fin
Using orange
1. Make 23 chain stitches. Starting from the second chain from hook, crochet 1 sc in each chain stitch (22). Chain 1 and turn. 
2. Crochet 22 sc. Chain 1 and turn.
3. Crochet *2 sc, 1 picot stitch on top of the previous sc*, repeat * 10 times. Crochet 1 sc in the 2 last stitches of the row.
Close and break the yarn, leaving a long tail to sew to the cap.

Picot Stitch = chain 3. Then crochet one sc in the first of those stitches (third chain from hook). Continue with the following stitches.




Assembly
- Sew the cap to the head and then sew the dorsal fin to the cap.
- Sew the three pieces of the caudal fin to the tip of the body.
- Sew the pectoral fins to the sides of the body.
- Weave in all ends!
