- 1.50 mm crochet hook
- 100 % cotton yarn for a 1.50 mm hook
- A pair of 6 mm safety eyes or yarn to embroider them

I use 100% cotton yarn.
Finished size:
From head to toe, Minty measures 9.5 cm approximately.

7. With the second leg still on your hook, chain 5 ch stitches and join leg 1. Crochet 10 sc along leg 1. Then crochet 5 sc along one of the sides of the 5-ch chain, 10 sc along leg 2 and, finally, 5 sc along the other side of the 5-ch chain. Total stitches: 30

Close. Flatten with your fingers and secure it with a few stitches using the tapestry needle.
Make sure to exit the yarn through one side, to sew later to the head.
Arms

1. Make 2 chain stitches. Crochet 4 sc in the second chain from hook.
2. Crochet *2 sc in each stitch*, repeat * (8)
3. to 11. Crochet 8 sc
{Do not stuff the arm…}
12. Press the opening with your fingers and crochet together, with sc, both opposing sides.
Close. Break the yarn and leave a long tail to sew arms to body.
Ribbon
{Using the color you chose for the dress…The ribbon is crocheted in rows, not spirals…}
1. Chain 11 ch stitches. From the second chain from hook, crochet 1 sc in each chain (total stitches: 10 sc). Chain 1 and and turn.
2. to 3. Crochet 10 sc. Chain 1 and and turn.
4. Crochet 10 sc. Chain 1.
Before breaking the yarn, crochet a series of sc all along the sides of the rectangle and the other side of the foundation chain. Close, break the yarn and weave in ends. Use the same color to tie several rounds of yarn in the middle and finish with a knot. Leave a long tail to sew to Minty’s head.
Assembly
- Sew the ears to the head.
- Sew the arms to the sides of the body.
- Sew the ribbon to the head
