{ Decorative Easter Bunnies... }

Materials
- 3.00 mm crochet hook
- 100 % cotton yarn for a 3.00 mm hook
- A pair of 8 mm safety eyes
- Tapestry needle and pins
- Polyfiber fill

Abbreviations (US Terms)
st = stitch
ch = chain stitch
slst = slip stitch
sc = single crochet

You will need:
White and three shades of one color of your choice.
Oh! And a bit of pink to embroider the cheeks and snout.
I use 100% cotton yarn (8/8 – DK Worsted).

Finished size:
From the base to the tippy top of the ears, your finished bunny should measure 27 cm approximately.
Of course, should you choose a different hook and yarn, final measures will vary…

To make a smaller bunny (like the one in the photo), you’ll have to crochet it using a 2.00 mm hook and 8/4 Fingering cotton yarn. The small bunny measures 19 cm.

Ready? Let’s begin!
The bunny is crocheted from the neck to the end of its body. We will use the Blue Bunny as example…

Base of the body
Using dark blue…
1. Magic ring of 6 sc
2. Crochet 2 sc in each st (12)
3. Crochet 2 sc in each st (24)
4. Crochet *3 sc, 2 sc in the next st*, repeat * 6 times (30)
5. Crochet 2 sc, 2 sc in the next st, *4 sc, 2 sc in the next st*, repeat * 5 times, 2 sc (36)
6. Crochet *5 sc, 2 sc in the next st*, repeat * 6 times (42)
7. Crochet 3 sc, 2 sc in the next st, *6 sc, 2 sc in the next st*, repeat * 5 times, 3 sc (48)
Fasten off yarn and weave in ends. Set aside.

47. Crochet 48 slst
Fasten off yarn and weave in ends.

That’s it! Congratulations! Decorate your house or office with many many bunnies!
