{ Bruna, the bunny... }

Materials
- 4 mm crochet hook (US G)
- 100 % cotton yarn for a 4 mm hook
- Fluffy yarn, like chenille (I used two of Katia Bambi)
- A pair of 12 mm safety eyes or yarn to embroider them
- Tapestry needle
- Polyfiber fill

Abbreviations (US Terms)
st = stitch
ch = chain
sc = single crochet

You will need:
One color for her skin (Chenille) and one color for her t-shirt and ribbon (100% cotton).
Oh! And a bit of pink to embroider the cheeks.

Finished size:
From head to toe, Bruna measures 28 cm approximately.
Of course, should you choose a different hook and yarn, final measures will vary.

Ready? Let's begin...

NOTE: I found it hard to start with a magic ring using the fluffy chenille yarn. So I've always started with 2 chains...

Leg 1
Start with the skin color…
1. Make 2 chain stitches. Crochet 6 sc in the second chain from hook.
2. Crochet 2 sc in each st (12)
3. to 5. Crochet 12 sc
Close and break the yarn.

6. With the second leg still on your hook, chain 8 ch stitches and join leg 1. Crochet 12 sc along leg 1. Then crochet 8 sc along one of the sides of the 8-ch chain, 12 sc along leg 2 and, finally, 8 sc along the other side of the 8-ch chain. Total stitches: 40
7. to 12. Crochet 40 sc
13. Change to the color of the t-shirt (100% cotton) and crochet 40 sc
14. Crochet *8 sc, one decrease*, repeat * (36)
