- 100 % cotton yarn for a 2.50 mm hook

- A bit of black yarn to embroider the eyes and a bit of pink yarn to embroider the cheeks.

Embroider the eyes with a bit of black yarn between rounds 29 and 30, with a distance of 8 stitches. Using pink yarn, embroider the cheeks…

36. Take the inner layer (remember to turn it inside out) and place it inside the ghost basket. It might take a little bit of adjusting with your hands. Match the stitches of the opening of the inner layer with those of the opening of the basket. Then join both layers by crocheting 1 sc into each pair of stitches (1 stitch of the basket and 1 stitch of the inner layer).(54)

Fasten off yarn and weave in ends.

Ruffle of the basket

Turn the basket upside down (the opening down) and join the white yarn into one of the remaining front loops of round 12 of the basket.

1. Crochet 1 sc in each front loop of round 12 of the basket (60)

2. Crochet *14 sc, 2 sc in the next st*, repeat * 4 times (64)

3. Crochet 64 sc

4. Crochet *1 slst, 1 sc, 1 hdc + dc + hdc all in the same stitch, 1 sc*, repeat all along the round. Crochet one last slst into the first stitch of the round to close.

Fasten off yarn and weave in ends.

Arms

Make two, using white…

1. Magic ring of 6 sc

2. Crochet 2 sc in each st (12)

3. to 9. Crochet 12 sc

10. Press the opening with your fingers, aligning 6 stitches side by side and sc together the corresponding stitches, 1 sc into each pair of stitches (6).

Fasten off yarn, leaving a long tail to sew. Sew them now to the basket!
