Start with white…
1. Chain 6 ch stitches. Crochet 2 sc (increase) in the second ch from hook and then 1 sc in each of the following 3 ch stitches. Crochet 4 sc (2 increases) in the last ch stitch, which will allow you to turn and work on the other side of the foundation chain. Crochet 1 sc in each of the following 3 ch stitches and, finally, 2 sc (increase) in the last ch stitch. (Total stitches: 14 sc)
2. Crochet 1 sc, 1 increase, 4 sc, 1 increase, 1 sc, 1 increase, 4 sc, and finally 1 increase (18)
3. Only through back loops, crochet 18 sc
4. Crochet 7 sc, 2 decreases and finally 7 sc (16)
5. Crochet 6 sc, 1 decrease, 1 sc, 1 decrease and finally 5 sc (14)
Start stuffing the legs firmly and continue doing so as you go…
6. and 7. Crochet 14 sc
8. Crochet 5 sc. Leave the rest of the stitches unworked.
Fasten off yarn and weave in ends. Set aside.
Start with white…
1. Chain 6 ch stitches. Crochet 2 sc (increase) in the second ch from hook and then 1 sc in each of the following 3 ch stitches. 8. Crochet 5 sc. Leave the rest of the stitches unworked.
9. (This is the tricky part…) Still with leg 2 on your hook, join leg 1 with a sc. This will be the new beginning of the following rounds. Place a stitch marker here. Make sure both feet are facing forward, and the back of the legs face you. Crochet further 13 sc all along leg 1. Then go to leg 2 and crochet 14 sc along leg 2 (28).
10. Crochet *13 sc, 2 sc in the next st*, repeat * twice (30)
11. to 13. Crochet 30 sc

Small cape
Using pink… The cape is not crocheted in rounds but in rows.
1. Leaving a long initial tail (you’ll use it to sew the cape around the neck), chain 23 ch stitches. Starting from the second ch from hook, crochet 1 sc in each ch stitch (22 sc).
2. Chain 1 and turn. Crochet 2 sc in the next st (increase), 20 sc and then another increase (24).
3. Chain 1 and turn. Crochet 1 increase, 22 sc and then another increase (26).
4. Chain 1 and turn. Crochet 1 increase, 24 sc and then another increase (28).
For a tidier finish, chain 1 to turn the piece 90 degrees clockwise and crochet 4 sc along the side of the cape, working in the spaces between rows. When you reach the top edge, crochet 22 sc in the remaining loops of the foundation chain. Then chain 1 to turn the piece 90 degrees clockwise again and crochet 4 sc along the other side of the piece, once again working in the spaces between rows.
Fasten off yarn and weave in ends.

DON’T BREAK THE YARN… Chain 1 to turn the piece 90 degrees clockwise and crochet 3 sc along the side of the bow, working in the spaces between rows. When you reach the top edge, crochet 6 sc in the remaining loops of the foundation chain. Then chain 1 to turn the piece 90 degrees clockwise again and crochet 3 sc along the other side of the piece, once again working in the spaces between rows.
Fasten off yarn and weave in ends.
- Sew the arms to the body.
- Sew the small cape around the neck.
- Sew the hood to the head.
- Sew the ears to the hood and bend the one with the wire inside.
- Using a bit of light yellow yarn, embroider the nose in between the eyes.
- Sew the lilac bow to the hood.
- Weave in all ends inside the doll.
