{ Free Pattern: A Christmas Tree... }

I love this time of the year... I love Christmas and all the previous days, how the city becomes cheerful... School is over and with it those evil early mornings (6:30 am!)... Summer holidays are a stone's trow away. Yes, no white Christmas here, just a very very hot one!
In Argentina it's a tradition to decorate the Christmas tree today, December 8th, which is a National Holiday here, because we celebrate Virgin Mary's Immaculate Conception... So, seize the day to decorate your home!
Why not with a crochet Christmas tree?
Here's the pattern for the one I crocheted for my house... It's very simple and quick. And you can make it in different sizes by just varying the crochet hook and the yarn. As for the colours, I used three, but the possibilities and combinations are endless!! Be creative...

Materials:
- 1 crochet hook number 3. With this hook, your tree will measure 15 cm.
- 1 Tapestry needle
- Three yarn callings for the tree, a bit of yellow yarn for the star and a bit of white yarn to embroider the stars on the tree.

For the larger tree, I used a crochet hook size 4.5 mm and heavier cotton yarn. It measures 24 cm.

Abbreviations
st = stitch
