{ Free Pattern: A frog for Iñaki... }

I post here the pattern for the frog I made for my son Iñaki... Yes, it looks a bit like Kermitt. Why deny it? We are after all huge fans of The Muppets at home. I hope you like it!

I used 100% cotton yarn (green, white and a bit of black to embroider de mouth and eyes) for a number 3 crochet hook. Also some polyfiber fill to stuff the frog and a pair of safety eyes. 

Abbreviations
sc = single crochet
hdc = half double crochet
dc = double crochet

Do not hesitate to write should you have any doubts!
PATTERN

Eyes
{Make two}
1. Start with a magic ring of 6 sc
2. Crochet *2 sc in each stitch*, repeat *  (12)
3. Crochet *1 sc, 2 sc in the following stitch*, repeat * (18)
4. Crochet 18 sc
Close and leave a long tail to sew later to head.
{Place safety eyes and embroider black}

13. Crochet *2 sc on each stitch*, repeat *  (12)

23. Crochet *2 sc on each stitch*, repeat *  (12)

32. For the fingers, make 1 dc and 1 hdc on the first sc, then 1 sc, 1 slip stitch, 1 sc, 1 hdc + 1 dc + 1 hdc on the 5th sc, go on with 1 sc, 1 slip stitch, 1 sc and 1 hdc + 1 dc + 1 hdc on the 9th sc, then 1 sc, 1 slip stitch, 1 sc and finish 1 hdc + 1 dc on the last sc (number 13).
